A devised piece with the Shout Out Loud program exploring Black history onsite at Portchester Castle. Due to COVID-19 this became a filmed piece during rehearsal, and was filmed over two weeks on location. My role included costume breaking down and repairs, period dressing, continuity checking and onsite repairs, as well as getting in and out of our historic venue each day.

An hour-long piece written by Rose Bruford students for the Symposium Event, as a chance to explore new pieces and ideas. This sound-heavy show was put together around other projects and with minimal tech time, but came together very successfully!

Stage Manager - Working: A Musical

Four performances of a large scale musical in a professional venue. I came onto this show as a replacement for their previous SM, and picked up the thread a week before rehearsals began. This role included running a budget, factoring COVID safety into the use of instruments, and running technical rehearsals.

Virtual Stage Manager - Play Reading Evening

An evening of three shows, run over Zoom and presented live on YouTube. As the stage manager, I operated the sound, and cued the changes in the stream layout, as well as cuing actors cameras on and off, factoring in the delay caused by each individuals internet connection.

A devised piece of theatre that was rehearsed with one director in video calls from Italy, and recorded across multiple locations to be broadcast online at a later date. The role included operating cameras and recording sound, as well as sourcing/making and tracking all the props (this show had over 100 items!)

A devised piece of theatre exploring colonialism and immigration through Afro-futurism that was one of the first shows performed live in London after the initial COVID lockdown. The piece incorporated projection, including a live video feed and pre-filmed segments, and was performed under COVID-safe conditions.

Cover Stage Manager - 42nd Street

Role involved shadowing the SM for three performances and covering three weeks of performances, including LX and SFX operating, show reports, and repairs to set and costume. The show included stage technology such as a kabuki drop and a lift.

A site-specific devised piece created with the National Youth Theatre, English Heritage and Metro Zest, a group for LGBT+ youth. The piece explored the history of Eltham Palace through an ambulatory performance. The role included sourching and creating propsand working with English Heritage to preserve the site.

This role included making cloaks and dresses from scratch, as well as sourching and adapting costumes to fit the directors design. It also involved quickly applying prosthetic makeup and fake blood, and managing props and costume changes backstage.
